Prepare files for translation

  • remove hard and soft returns in the text flow
  • remove any extra content from paste boards
  • allocate any graphics that would need to be localized
  • Export translatable format of the main files
  • Extract any text from the graphics to be localized
    Prepare/recreate any outlined or un-editable content to be ready for text replacement after translation
  • Create SDL packages from the prepared files into the various languages requested
  • Analyze the translatable files against the available TMs
  • Deliver SDL xliff files, analysis files, and TMs for quotation and translation purposes.
